Over 2,600 People Fleeing Ukraine Had Temporary Protection In Malta In April 2026

According to data shared by Eurostat, 2,625 non-EU citizens who fled Ukraine found temporary protection status in Malta.
This was out of a total of 4.37 million across the EU, with Germany taking in the majority at 29.3%, or 1,279,660 people.
Poland and Czechia took in the second and third largest amounts at 971,255 and 384,435 respectively.
