Over 190,000 Foreign Tourists Visited Gozo In 2025

New statistics published by the National Statistics Office show that 192,021 foreign tourists spent at least one night in Gozo last year, marking a 7% increase over 2024.
Clint Camilleri, Minister for Gozo and Planning, described the results as encouraging, noting a balanced distribution of visitors across all seasons, confirming the Government’s strategy to promote Gozo as a year-round destination.
While summer remained the strongest season, hosting 37% of total visitors, autumn accounted for 26%, spring 27% and winter 10%.
October registered the highest number of foreign visitors, while December saw the largest rate of increase.
Compared to the previous year, autumn tourism rose by 22%, winter by 11%, spring by 2% and summer by 1%.
Collective accommodation, including both foreign and domestic tourism, increased by 22%, with all months recording growth.
Ferry connectivity also improved, with over 46,000 inter-island trips in 2025, 1,700 more than the previous year.
Minister Camilleri highlighted continued investment in cultural activities and announced two new vessels, set to operate in 2029, alongside a task force to review Mġarr Port’s infrastructure capacity.
