Over 11,000 Traffic Accidents In Malta This Year Alone

In a parliamentary question, Byron Camilleri, Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment, divulged that there have been 11,407 in Malta until September 2025, following a question from MP Graziella Attard Previ.
Information tabled in parliament revealed that in 2024, a total of 16,605 traffic accidents were processed by the Maltese Police Force, or LESA officers.
Additionally, 16,410 traffic accidents were reported in 2023, and 15,711 were reported in 2022.
Over the last 4 years, starting from 2022 until September 2025, Malta has seen a total of 60,133 processed traffic accidents.
