Over 100 Facades Decorated With Black Drapes In Rabat For Good Friday

A first of its kind project saw over 100 drapes decorating balconies and windows in Rabat’s St Paul Street.
This is the first project of its kind in Malta, with residents and businesses contributing to the feat and decorating their facades in celebration of Good Friday.
Were one to walk down St Paul Street Road in Rabat and look up, various drapes with white edges can be seen dangling from the facades, creating a unique atmosphere for Holy Week.
‘I’ll-Kummissjoni Ġimgħa l-Kbira’ thanked the Rabat Local Council for their support to finance the material and the bringing of the project to fruition.
