Omar Rababah Officially Submits Election Nomination

Omar Rababah has officially submitted his nomination to run as a candidate on behalf of the Labour Party.
This follows a rather intense reaction following his announcement, leading to Rababah asking Labour supporters live whether he should contest during a mass meeting.
Prime Minister Robert Abela vouched for Omar, inviting him to speak about his candidature and welcoming him into the fold.
In later statements, Rababah urged the Labour voting base not to let anyone shove a wedge between him and them, saying that he is ready to work hard for a Malta he loves.
In his most recent post, submitting his nomination, he thanked all those who backed his candidacy, promising them that he will work tirelessly if accepted and elected.
