Nisa Laburisti Launch ‘We Are’ Campaign As Part Of PL Electoral Campaign

Nisa Laburisti has launched the ‘We Are’ campaign as part of the Labour Party’s electoral campaign, with the aim of highlighting the skills, experiences and responsibilities women carry in their daily lives and how these contribute to more holistic and responsible leadership.

The campaign builds on progress in women’s representation while promoting the importance of a stronger female presence in public life. It reflects the reality that many women make key decisions every day at work, within their families and in their communities, demonstrating consistency, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility.

Lydia Abela said the campaign highlights the daily reality of women who constantly think, plan and take decisions while balancing multiple responsibilities. She noted that what may appear routine often requires significant ability, reliability and judgement. She added that the campaign encourages greater recognition of women from diverse backgrounds who already display leadership qualities in everyday life.

Nikita Alamango described the initiative as a natural step in encouraging more women to engage in public and political life. She said the campaign embraces different perspectives while celebrating women’s contributions.

The campaign will feature women from various sectors, focusing on authentic experiences. Activities and social media content will continue throughout the electoral period, providing a platform for female candidates to share their experiences in public life and within their communities.
