New Specialty Coffee Spot ‘Bardo’ Now Open In Gżira

A brand new coffee spot has landed in Gżira and it’s bringing with it a story shaped across different cities, cultures and homes.

Founded by Hany and Jean, Bardo was born from an idea that first started taking shape in Tokyo, before evolving through Beirut, Dubai and Cyprus, eventually finding its home in Malta, a country the founders deeply adore and feel connected to.

More than just a café, Bardo blends specialty coffee with internationally-inspired flavours and cultures, homemade baking, truly healthy indulgent treats, rich protein bowls and a warm everyday atmosphere built around genuine conversations, comfort and community.

The concept embraces a simple “come as you are” spirit, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, a nourishing meal, a homemade dessert or simply a moment to slow down.
