New Social Housing Project Completed In Siġġiewi

Minister for Social and Affordable Accommodation, Roderick Galdes, visited the newly completed social housing project in Siġġiewi, which provides five modern residential units for five families. The project also includes an underground garage with parking spaces and a lift system, ensuring easy access to all floors and greater convenience for residents.

All works were carried out by Housing Projects Solutions Ltd (HPS) in collaboration with the Housing Authority, who oversaw the construction, excavation, installation, and final finishes, ensuring that every stage met high standards of quality, safety, and accessibility.

With a total investment of around €900,000, the project includes full electrical systems, interior and exterior finishes, paving, plastering, waterproofing, and installation of apertures — all aimed at creating a safe and comfortable living environment for the families who will call it home.

Minister Galdes said, “This project not only provides safe and decent housing for five families but also stands as a clear demonstration of the Government’s commitment to providing affordable and inclusive accommodation across Malta.”
