In a video statement, Minister Chris Bonett announced that the new Sliema fast ferry which began operations on the 5th of May welcomed over 100,000 passengers in one month.
The Minister said that demand was expected to be high, but this expectation was exceeded as passengers flocked to use the new ferry line.
This is a testament to the logic and utility of the project, the Minister said, anticipating a busy summer ahead.
