New Servizz.gov Centre Opens In Gozo: Network Expands To 27 Offices

The Servizz.gov Agency has opened a new regional office in Gozo, expanding its presence across the Maltese Islands to 27 centres.

The new office was inaugurated by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and Head of the Public Service Tony Sultana during a visit to the centre in Pjazza San Franġisk, Victoria, Gozo. They were accompanied by Servizz.gov Chief Executive Officer Massimo Vella.

The Servizz.gov centre in Victoria will allow residents to access hundreds of government services under one roof, offering assistance and applications for services including social benefits, educational services, tax forms, identity card collection, business support schemes, and other government services.

Minister Clint Camilleri said the opening of the centre provides concrete proof that citizens remain at the heart of the Government’s policies. He said the new office is “a clear example of a Government that places citizens at the centre of its work and continues to invest so that services become more accessible, efficient, and closer to the people.”

Head of the Public Service Tony Sultana said that Servizz.gov centres now reach every corner of the Maltese Islands. He said that while only 14% of people currently prefer using these centres, it remains a social responsibility to maintain a presence in towns and villages, which is why the physical network continues to expand.

Servizz.gov Chief Executive Officer Massimo Vella said the opening of the Gozo centre forms part of the agency’s vision to bring Public Services closer to the public.

The opening comes as more people continue using Servizz.gov platforms. In 2025, the agency received 2.5 million requests for information or assistance, including 1.22 million calls to the Servizz.gov 153 Freephone service, 350,000 visits to centres, 80,000 chatbot cases, 131,000 emails, and 737,000 users accessing the Servizz.gov.mt website.
