New Infrastructure Minister Visits Msida Creek Project Site

The newly appointed Minister for Infrastructure, Planning and Public Works, Jonathan Attard, has carried out one of his first official engagements by visiting the ongoing works at the Msida Creek project.
Accompanied by Infrastructure Malta Chief Executive Steve Ellul, as well as project managers and architects overseeing the development, the minister toured the site to assess progress on one of the country's largest infrastructure projects.
In a social media post, the minister said the project is steadily taking shape, particularly in the areas that will eventually serve as public spaces for residents and visitors.
These include the new town square, waterfront promenade and several other community-focused areas designed to enhance the locality.
The visit comes as works continue to advance across the site, with Infrastructure Malta aiming to transform the area into a more accessible and attractive urban environment.
Once completed, the project is expected to provide improved public spaces and better connectivity for the surrounding community.
