New Collective Agreements Signed For ARMS Employees And Management

Two new collective agreements have been signed between ARMS Ltd and the General Workers' Union, covering 214 employees and 27 management staff members within the company.
The agreements follow months of discussions aimed at improving working conditions, strengthening employee recognition and enhancing the company’s operational efficiency. Workers will benefit from improved financial packages, new training and skills development measures, and initiatives addressing anomalies within existing grades and structures.
During the signing ceremony, Energy Minister Miriam Dalli said the agreements demonstrate the Government’s commitment to supporting workers who provide essential services related to water and electricity billing. She highlighted the importance of investing in employees to maintain high-quality public services.
ARMS Chief Executive George Azzopardi described the agreements as a historic milestone that will promote a fairer and more modern workplace.
Representatives from the GWU also welcomed the agreements as a significant step forward for employees and management alike.
