New BBC Series ‘Two Weeks In August’ Filmed In Malta

A new BBC drama series titled ‘Two Weeks In August’ was filmed across the Maltese islands, with the majority of its scenes using Gozo’s stunning views as their backdrop.
Mainly featuring Dwejra Bay and Mġarr ix-Xini, the new show is set on a Greek Island, where tensions rise and drama unfolds.
Starring Jessica Raine as Zoe and Damien Maloney follows a group of friends on holiday one summer, where they quickly realise their trip in paradise has turned into a life-or-death situation.
The series was filmed with local production company Pellikola, and commissioned by BBC One.
