Neglected Rescue Dog Bianca Receives Full Makeover On Her Journey To Rehabilitation
Local
A recently rescued Chow Chow named Bianca has been given a full makeover by the Association for Abandoned Animals after a life of “isolation and neglect.”
In a series of Facebook posts, the AAA explained that they normally groom their new arrivals, but Bianca was too snappy and untrustworthy of humans.
So, after a few weeks of building trust with Bianca, the AAA took her to get spayed at a local veterinary clinic. While still under anaesthesia, the vets were able to give her a full grooming session.
The AAA said that Bianca’s coat of fur was too matted to her skin to be saved, but Bianca should be more comfortable now as she continues her journey towards trusting humans again.
