The Nationalist Party has proposed a single medical record for patients and a digital front door for appointments, referrals, results, prescriptions, discharge notes and follow ups.
The Nationalist Party said that this would lead to less paperwork, less mistakes and less waiting time for patients.
This forms part of an overall set of proposals related to healthcare by the Nationalist Party, with Alex Borg having announced free cancer treatment for patients, three new hospitals and Mater Dei expansion.
