Nationalist Party Leader Alex Borg Visits Valletta Soup Kitchen

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg, elected as leader in September 2025, visited the Franciscan Soup Kitchen in Valletta this morning, where he had the opportunity to meet with hundreds of people who rely on this service daily for a hot meal.

The visit coincided with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.

“It is not enough for the country’s economy to progress if Maltese and Gozitan citizens cannot enjoy its benefits,” Borg said. “That is why the Nationalist Party will continue working to ensure that no one is left behind.”

He also thanked the volunteers and companies that support the kitchen, making it possible to provide meals every day. “When you listen, see, and touch the challenges these people face, you understand how important it is to continue working daily for those who need it most,” he added.

Borg was accompanied by Shadow Ministers Albert Buttigieg, Ivan Bartolo, and Graziella Galea during the visit.
