Nationalist Party Leader Alex Borg Addresses Crowds In Siġġiewi

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg and his partner Sarah Bajada joined crowds in Siġġiewi for the first mass meeting in the Nifs Ġdid election campaign.

Addressing the crowd, Borg said he was emotional by the warm welcome, thanking all the supporters who convened in Siġġiewi.

During his speech, he reiterated the newly announced proposals he revealed on Mother’s Day.

Borg referred to the new proposals which would see parents earn 15 days of paid leave for when their kids are sick.

He also mentioned the proposal of extending maternity leave to six months, as well as paternity leave to four weeks.

In addition, he pledged to strengthen the right to flexible working arrangements, allowing parents to better manage professional and family responsibilities.
