Nationalist Party Banners Go Up As General Election Announced

Banners for the Nationalist Party’s 2026 General Election campaign have also started going up around Malta, as Alex Borg unveils ‘Nifs Ġdid’ as the party’s slogan.
After Prime Minister Robert Abela called a general election for the 30th of May, 2026, Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg shared a video saying that they are ready.
‘This is not a campaign against someone’, said Borg. ‘This is a campaign for our country.’
‘This is a campaign for families who want tranquility of mind, for youths who want a future here, for workers, businesses and pensioners who deserve better.’
‘This is our moment to give Malta a new breath’, concluded the Opposition leader.
