Nadur Spontaneous Carnival Kicks Off Tonight
Local

Nadur Spontaneous Carnival kicks off tonight, with thousands expected to head to Gozo for three days of creativity, music and unforgettable moments from 13 to 15 February.

Hosted by Malta Daily in collaboration with G7 Events, the Nadur Spontaneous Carnival has become a once-a-year spectacle that continues to define Gozo’s cultural calendar. From hilarious costumes and sharp social commentary to bold floats, DJs and street-side dancing, the village of Nadur transforms into a living celebration that you simply won’t experience anywhere else in the Maltese Islands.

As the festivities begin, organisers are encouraging everyone attending to enjoy the weekend responsibly. Plan your transport in advance, avoid drinking and driving, look after your friends and respect the community hosting the event. Charge your phones, agree on meeting points and stay aware of your surroundings throughout the night.

Nadur’s unique atmosphere is built on collective energy and shared experience. It thrives when everyone plays their part in keeping the celebration safe, inclusive and positive for all.

Supported by the Ministry for Gozo and Planning, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government, the Local Government Division, Visit Malta, Lighthouse Supermarket and the Nadur Local Council, this year’s edition promises another powerful chapter in one of Gozo’s most anticipated weekends.
