Mużika Mużika Announces Final 16 For 2026 Edition

Today, 3rd November 2025, Festivals Malta announced the sixteen finalist songs that will feature in the sixth edition of Mużika Mużika.

As in the previous edition, all sixteen songs will proceed directly to the final without an elimination round.

In the earlier stage, thirty songs were shortlisted by an expert panel. These were then performed live before a separate jury, which, after careful deliberation, selected the sixteen finalists in the presence of the Government Notary.

Festivals Malta Chief Executive Officer, Frans Agius, said that Mużika Mużika continues to attract a mix of singers, composers, and authors, both newcomers and established artists.

He expressed satisfaction with the high standard of entries and looked forward to the upcoming edition of the festival in March 2026.

The Mużika Mużika Board and the Festivals Malta team will now begin logistical and musical preparations for the event, scheduled between 19th and 21st March 2026.
