Mużika Mużika 2026 To Be Broadcasted On TVM, ONE, F Living Channel & Smash TV

Festivals Malta has announced that, for the first time ever, Mużika Mużika will be shown on four local television stations.
This follows a call from Festivals Malta to all major TV stations asking if they wanted to broadcast the festival.
The response was very positive, which made this wider coverage possible. This is an important step for the festival, as it will now be on more TV platforms and is becoming a national event.
Festivals Malta thanked TVM, ONE, F Living Channel and Smash TV for helping to bring Mużika Mużika into the homes of thousands of Maltese and Gozitan viewers. All main local stations were invited to take part, and these four agreed to collaborate for this year’s festival.
For the first time, Mużika Mużika will also be broadcast with sign language on TVM+. This is part of Festivals Malta’s goal to make culture and the arts easier for everyone to enjoy.
In 2025, the festival reached over 390,000 viewers.
With this year’s wider coverage, it is expected to reach even more people. Chairman Aaron Zahra said the new broadcast confirms the festival as a national event and gives more visibility to Maltese artists. Chief Executive Frans Agius added that the extended coverage will give a better experience to viewers.
This comes as Malta Daily was named as the official media partner for Mużika Mużika, bringing a fresh new chapter to one of Malta’s most beloved celebrations of Maltese-language music.
Mużika Mużika 2026 will take place on 19, 20 and 21 March. More information is available at www.muzikamuzika.mt and on social media.
