Mużika Mużika 2026 Kicks Off Tonight!

Mużika Mużika 2026 kicks off tonight, launching three nights dedicated to celebrating Maltese language.

Tonight at 9PM, audiences will hear all competing songs for the very first time, as the 16 finalists take to the stage. Voting will take place through a combination of a jury vote and an MFCC audience-only vote, with those attending the show able to vote via the official app. Viewers watching from home will not be able to vote tonight, but will have their say during Saturday’s final.

On Friday, the festival continues with the much-loved Classics Night, a non-competitive show where finalists will duet with local artists to perform iconic Maltese songs, offering a nostalgic highlight of the week.

The competition returns on Saturday, where all songs will be performed once again before the public can vote through televoting. The winner will then be decided through a combination of Thursday’s jury vote, Thursday’s MFCC audience vote, Saturday’s jury vote, and the public televote, ultimately crowning the sixth winner of Mużika Mużika.

With excitement at its peak, all is set for another unforgettable edition.
