Muxu Announces New Book And Album "Beautifully Lost"

Local musician Muxu is breaking creative boundaries with his latest passion project, “Beautifully Lost”; a unique combination of book and album.

Unlike any traditional book, “Beautifully Lost” replaces chapters with QR codes that link to songs, letting readers experience the story through music as well as words.

Announcing the project on Instagram, Muxu shared, “Beautifully Lost is a passion project I’ve been working on for the past five years, it’s a book that comes with an album, combing the literary and music worlds together in one.”

The project is deeply personal. He revealed, “I spent so many years of my life feeling like I didn’t belong anywhere… after a year of heavy drinking, partying and drugs, I decided to book a trip to go try and figure out my purpose. And nine years later here we are, it led me to this book.”

He also reflected on the emotional journey of creating art, writing, “Writing this book made me need to look at myself more clearly, and having to look at the ugly sides of myself, somehow taught me to be more gentle with myself.”

Beautifully Lost is ultimately a story of hope, connection, and self-discovery. Muxu says it’s for “all the lost souls just trying to find their way home… I give you my heart, my art.”
