MSPCA Plead With Drivers To "Slow Down" As More Animals Die On Maltese Roads

The MSPCA, a local animal shelter, released a plea on their social media for drivers to slow down and be more cautious of the animals they are sharing the road with.

“We Refuse to Slow Down and nature is paying the price,” exclaimed the organisation.

“Today, another mother cat was killed on our roads,” stated the shelter, which left behind a young kitten all alone.

The MSPCA team are still out on the streets, looking for more kittens from this litter who might still be in the area by themselves.

“Please slow down,” pleaded the shelter, “We are losing innocent lives because we are too distracted, too rushed, and too disconnected from the nature around us.”

“Every life matters. Every road is shared,” they concluded.
