The MSPCA has announced that a litter of puppies from the L-Aħrax area are now safely in their care. The tiny pups, only around five weeks old, had been at risk due to their proximity to a very busy main road in Mellieħa.

MSPCA wrote, “The L-Aħrax puppies are now safely with the MSPCA. It had become too dangerous to leave them in Mellieħa, near a very fast main road.”

Described as adorable mixed breeds, the puppies will require ongoing support as they continue to grow and develop. The MSPCA emphasised the importance of providing proper nutrition and care to ensure the health and wellbeing of the young animals.

The organisation has thanked those who assisted in the rescue operation, highlighting the vital role of community support in safeguarding vulnerable animals.

Members of the public are encouraged to help in any way they can, whether through donations, fostering, or volunteering, to ensure these young puppies thrive under MSPCA’s care.
