Mqabba Industrial Fire Brought Under Control

An industrial fire erupted yesterday in Mqabba, with Civil Protection Malta quickly responding to the situation.

Authorities urged Mqabba residents, along with those residing in Kirkop and Zurrieq, to keep all their doors and windows closed as a precaution due to the smoke.

At around 8:00pm yesterday, Civil Protection Malta issued an update on social media, sharing that the fire was brought under control but cooling efforts were still underway.

“All responding entities continue to operate on scene in full coordination, ensuring that the situation remains stable and under constant monitoring,” stated CPD.

Along with CPD, the Mater Dei Emergency Department, Malta Police Force, Armed Forces of Malta, along with many other entities were part of controlling the situation.
