Mqabba Fest Kicks Off Today With Special Guests!

Mqabba Fest kicks off today, bringing together live music, drone technology and fireworks for what organisers describe as the official start of the summer season.

Taking place on Triq il-Konvoj ta' Santa Marija in Mqabba, the festival promises an evening of entertainment that combines performances by some of Malta's best known artists with a spectacular visual display.

The event will feature a synchronised drone show and fireworks display, creating a unique experience that blends technology with traditional celebrations.

Organisers say the festival marks a first for both Mqabba and Malta, transforming the historic village into a lively venue for music, art and entertainment.

The line-up includes Kurt Calleja, Claudia Faniello, Owen Leuellen, Versatile featuring Kevin Paul, Mike Spiteri, J Anvil and several other local performers, offering a mix of pop, dance and contemporary music throughout the evening.

Mqabba Fest aims to attract visitors from across Malta and Gozo while showcasing the village as a vibrant destination for large-scale cultural events.

With live performances, cutting-edge drone technology and a colourful fireworks finale, organisers hope the festival will become a new highlight on Malta's summer events calendar.
