Moviment Graffitti Calls For Demolition Of Illegal ODZ Sheep Farm In Bidnija

Moviment Graffitti has called on the Planning Authority (PA) to demolish a controversial Bidnija ‘sheep farm’, after a court definitively confirmed the cancellation of its permit.

Since 2023, Moviment Graffitti and Din l-Art Ħelwa have been pressing the PA to revoke the planning permit for the building, because it is constructed on sensitive land Outside the Development Zone (ODZ).

Following several appeals, the Court of Appeal upheld the organisations' position, with a judge rejecting the applicant's request for a retrial last week.

Now that the building has been deemed completely illegal, the organisations have renewed their push to have it taken down, and to have the site restored to its natural state.
