Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries in Late-Night Rabat Crash

A 48-year-old man suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident in Rabat on Tuesday night.
The incident took place at around 11:00pm in Triq is-Sajf Ta’ San Martin. Police were immediately informed and went on site, where preliminary investigations showed that a collision had occurred between a Mazda 2 driven by a 19-year-old man from Ħad-Dingli and a Surran Ultra Bee motorcycle ridden by the 48-year-old Rabat resident.
A medical team was called to the scene, and an ambulance transported the motorcyclist to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. He was later certified to have suffered serious injuries.
Police investigations into the case are still ongoing.
