Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Collision With Car In Swieqi

Yesterday, at around a quarter past ten in the evening (10:15 p.m.), the police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq Sant’Andrija, Swieqi.
Police officers immediately went to the scene, where preliminary investigations revealed that a collision had occurred between a Smart ForFour, driven by a 20-year-old woman from Wied il-Għajn, and a Honda WW125A motorcycle, ridden by a 21-year-old Libyan man residing in Swieqi.
A medical team was called to assist, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
