Motorcyclist Hospitalised at Mater Dei Following Msida Traffic Accident

A 27-year-old man was seriously injured following a traffic accident in Msida on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 5:30pm (1730hrs) in Triq il-Wied Ta’ l-Imsida, when police were informed of a collision. Officers immediately went on site, where preliminary investigations showed that the crash involved a Mazda Demio driven by a 37-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay and a Sym Symphony motorcycle ridden by the 27-year-old Msida resident.
A medical team and ambulance were called to the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment. He was later certified as having suffered serious injuries.
Police investigations into the case are still ongoing.
