Motorcyclist Crashes Into Transport Malta Motorcycle

Yesterday, at around 1330hrs, police were informed of an accident which had taken place in Triq Dawret San Pawl il-Baħar, St Paul’s Bay.
Police convened on site and preliminary investigations showed that a 39 year old man resident of Floriana driving a Honda SH motorcycle crashed into a Transport Malta BMW motorcycle.
The latter vehicle was blocking part of the road as the road was being cleaned due to oil spillage.
A medical team was called on site and the driver was taken to Mater Dei Hospital. He was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
