Motorcyclist & Passenger Grievously Injured In Wied il-Għajn Crash

This morning, at around 1000hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident which had taken place in Triq id-Daħla ta’ San Tumas, Wied il-Għajn.
Police convened immediately on site and found that a crash had taken place between a Mitsubishi Pajero, driven by a 21 year old man resident of Birkirkara, and a Honda motorcycle driven by a 54 year old man resident of Wied il-Għajn.
A medical team was called on site and transported the driver and a passenger of the motorcycle, a 48 year old woman from Wied il-Għajn to Mater Dei Hospital.
They were later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are still ongoing.
