Mosta Council Awards ‘Ġieħ Il-Mosta’ Award To Former Speaker Anġlu Farrugia

Yesterday, the Mosta Local Council awarded the Ġieħ il-Mosta Award to Dr Anġlu Farrugia, ‘in recognition of his long-standing career in public service and his contribution to our country.’

‘Dr Farrugia was unable to join us during the Mosta Day Ceremony, as he was abroad attending the Commonwealth Conference, where he himself was honoured with the Parliamentarian Lifetime Achievement Award.’

‘Therefore, today we had the opportunity to welcome him and personally present him with the Ġieħ il-Mosta Award.’

‘On behalf of the Mosta Local Council, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr Farrugia on this recognition and thank him for his many years of service to our country.’
