Most Maltese Think October Is Too Early For Christmas Decorations

Christmas might still be 66 days away, but the festive spirit is already making its way across Malta!

With Christmas shops and festive displays popping up around the island as early as September, we decided to ask our followers one simple question: Is October too early for Christmas decorations?

And it seems the majority aren't quite ready to get into the festive spirit just yet.

Out of 582 people who voted in our Instagram poll, 63% (364 votes) said October is too early to start putting up Christmas decorations.

Meanwhile, 37% (218 votes) disagreed, believing there's nothing wrong with getting into the Christmas spirit a little earlier.

While some people prefer to wait until November or December before putting up their Christmas trees, others are already embracing the festive season with decorations, lights and Christmas shopping.

And with just over two months to go until Christmas Day, the debate over when the festive season should officially begin is well and truly underway.
