More Than An Award: Mvintage Women Of The Year Celebrates Women Creating Change

Mvintage Women of the Year returns for its fifth edition, celebrating women whose dedication, personal journeys and actions are creating a meaningful impact across Maltese society.
Taking place on Monday, 26 October 2026, at Villa Mdina, the initiative goes beyond a traditional awards ceremony by creating a platform for women and the causes they support to reach a wider audience.
Behind every meaningful change, there is often someone who chose to take action. Whether through advocacy, community work, health awareness, inclusion or personal resilience, many women are creating a positive difference in the lives of others.

Their work may not always receive widespread attention, but the impact of their efforts can be felt through the people they support and the conversations they inspire.
Mvintage Women of the Year aims to recognise these contributions while helping amplify the voices of women who are championing important causes. By sharing their stories, the initiative seeks to encourage greater understanding, create connections and inspire others to take action within their own communities.
The fifth edition highlights women whose experiences reflect different forms of commitment and determination. The initiative recognises that making a difference does not always require a large organisation or public position.
It can begin with a personal experience, a desire to support others or the courage to challenge misconceptions.
Through storytelling and awareness-building, Mvintage aims to ensure these women's journeys continue to inspire beyond the awards evening. Greater visibility can help connect them with individuals, organisations and supporters who can contribute to the growth of their work.
The event will welcome guests from 6:30 pm, followed by the ceremony and celebrations. Supported by Busy Bee, MAPFRE Malta, The Malta Florist, Vini e Capricci and Malta Daily, the evening will celebrate women whose actions continue to make a difference.
