Taking to Facebook group Nostalgia Malta, user Carmelo Gauci shared some photos of Malta in the past, going back all the way before the 1890s.

And that’s because one of the photos showcases the windmill on St Michael’s Bastion in Valletta, which was demolished in 1890.

The photos also show the Grand Harbour busy with life, as sailors and other persons took to their boats. Another photo shows Mosta’s Dome in the 1913, before it was the victim of the legendary bomb that never exploded.
