Momentum Candidate Apologises For Losing Cool During University Debate

Momentum election candidate Pierre Schembri-Wismayer has issued an apology for ‘losing his cool’ during the University Debate.
During the debate, Schembri-Wismayer was accused of making obscene gestures, allegedly showing the middle finger to another audience member.
The Momentum candidate stood up and exited the hall after shouts of ‘BARRA’ (OUT) filled the room during the Prime MInister’s speaking time.
‘I must admit that I let my emotions get the better of me in view the provocative behaviour of some vociferous party supporters who were present in the hall’, wrote Schembri-Wismayer.‘I should not have reacted the way I did, I realised my mistake and chose to voluntarily leave the room.’
