Ministers Sit Down With Youths To Hear Their Ideas

Young people and students presented a number of proposals and ideas to Ministers during the Żgħażagħ Laburisti event titled Pitch it to the Minister, held this morning at the Trophies Lounge, Millennium Stand, Ta’ Qali.
The participants were given a platform to voice their opinions and exchange thoughts with the respective Ministers on topics including education, the economy, the environment, culture, transport, inclusion, agriculture, housing, and European funds.
The event served as an open discussion between young people and government Ministers, allowing the latter to gain a clearer understanding of youth perspectives in decision-making across various sectors.
The President of Żgħażagħ Laburisti, Miguel Abela, explained that the event originated from an idea by Secretary General Trisianne Oliva and was successfully organised with the collaboration of all executive members.
In addition to thanking those who took part, he said, “We want young people not to remain mere observers of politics, but to become active participants in it.”
