Minister Surprised By Maltese Dog Evacuated From UAE Due To War

Minister for Foreign Affairs Ian Borg was surprised by Cookie, a dog amongst the first to be evacuated from the United Arab Emirates after the conflict in Iran broke out.
Cookie was brought onto AWLA on ONE, and the energy in the dog was unmistakable and adorable.
When the conflict broke out, Borg kept the public updated as to the various evacuations for Maltese residents in the region, revealing that through successful negotiations, everyone who needed it was safely evacuated.
And Cooke was very thankful to be one of them!
