Minister Bonnici explained that this international production continues to put Malta on the global map while also creating new employment opportunities for the local creative community.

“The Government is committed to attracting more projects of this calibre, which represent direct investment in our economy and in the skills of our country. For this production alone, 166 Maltese and Gozitan crew members will be part of this experience,” Minister Bonnici stated.

Film Commissioner Johann Grech added, “Productions like these are important not only for our economy and the country’s image, but also because they provide opportunities to further upskill Maltese and Gozitan crews.”

Written by Howard Overman and directed by David Caffrey in collaboration with Alice Troughton, the series features, among others, actress Ritu Arya, best known for Umbrella Academy, and actor Tewfik Jallab, known from the series Dark Hearts. The story follows MI6 officers actively investigating a criminal terrorist organisation in a European city.
