Minister Joins Teacher & Students In TikTok Trend

Minister Byron Camilleri shared a video of himself joining a teacher and two students doing a cute TikTok trend dance together.

‘Joined in the fun with students and their teacher today’, wrote Camilleri, dancing along to the music in the stadium.

This comes as schools across Malta and Gozo get invited to take part in the 2026 edition of Sport Malta School Sports Day, an initiative aimed at promoting sport and physical activity among students from an early age.

The initiative was launched at the Cottonera Sports Complex by Minister for Education and Sport Byron Camilleri and SportMalta Chief Executive Officer Mark Cutajar, in the presence of representatives from schools that participated in last year’s edition.

SportMalta School Sports Day will take place on 19 October, with schools encouraged to organise activities that suit their students and their own school environment. The initiative aims to give children the opportunity to try different activities, enjoy movement and develop positive habits that can continue beyond their school years.
