Parliament Secretary Discusses Hornet Problem With Beekeepers Association

Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Animal Rights Alicia Bugeja Said has met with the Malta Beekeepers Association to discuss the problem of hornets in Malta, which can also pose a danger to stray cats.
The meeting also addressed ways to help cat feeders reduce factors that attract hornets.
Bugeja Said said animal welfare and support for volunteers remain priorities, adding that further meetings will be held to find practical solutions.
