This was the second meeting between Clint Camilleri and Jessika Roswall, following talks held in Brussels a few months ago. On this occasion, the Commissioner had the opportunity to see first hand a number of environmental initiatives taking place across the country.

FKNK President Lucas Micallef explained the work being carried out and outlined the progress achieved so far. The Commissioner also saw barn owl chicks that had recently hatched, offering a clear example of the results of these efforts.

Clint Camilleri said the Government remains open to continued dialogue with the European Commission, particularly on issues affecting Malta. He emphasised that communication between both sides will remain ongoing, with full respect towards both Malta and the European Commission.
