Maltese photographer Edward Magri, known as 'Ewi Photography,' has once again captivated social media users after sharing a stunning image of the Milky Way captured from Miġra l-Ferħa in Mtaħleb on the 18th of June.

"You all showed so much love for my recent Milky Way shot, that I had to dig back into my data from the night before," shared Edward.

Alongside the image, Magri invited followers to reflect on one of humanity's greatest questions: whether we are alone in the universe or if another civilisation could be looking back at our Sun from somewhere within the vast Milky Way.

He encouraged users to share their theories in the comments.

For all the photography enthusiasts, the image was created using a tracked and stacked technique with a Nikon 14–30mm lens set at 24mm. Magri used 15 light frames and five dark frames, with each exposure lasting three minutes at f/4 and ISO 400, producing a highly detailed view of the night sky.
