MEP Thomas Bajada Meets Former School Teacher As He Leads Euroscola In Strasbourg

As he held a conversation at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, MEP Thomas Bajada was pleased to discover that one of his former school teachers was in attendance.

This forms part of Euroscola, a programme that brings together students from the ages of 14 to 27 from all 27 EU Member States to debate, negotiate, vote and adopt resolutions on real European issues.

The students are all accompanied by a teacher or educator, and one of those turned out to be one of the Gozitan MEP’s former teachers.

Bajada pointed to her, leading to a round of applause from those in attendance. This was the first time Thomas was leading the Euroscola session in Strasbourg, and he expressed how happy he was seeing youths discussing their hope, view of the world and ideas for a better future.
