Maltese MEP Thomas Bajada has celebrated his 32nd birthday by sharing a heartfelt and reflective message on social media, looking back on his personal journey and the values that have shaped him.

In a series of images posted to Instagram, Bajada paired recent photographs of himself with images representing his younger self, accompanied by messages addressed to "little me".

The post focused less on achievements and more on perspective, family and personal growth.

“Today feels less about achievements and more about perspective,” Bajada wrote as he marked the occasion.

Among the reflections shared were messages about proving that “a small island never meant small dreams,”understanding the importance of knowing where you come from, and recognising the challenges that help build resilience.
