Mental Health Association Malta Hosts Inspiring Awareness Walk In Valletta

Walking for Mental Health event took place on Sunday, 12th October 2025, bringing together a diverse group of participants in a show of solidarity for mental health awareness.
The walk began at the Triton Fountain in Valletta and proceeded along Republic Street before concluding at St George’s Square. Participants came together to raise awareness and demonstrate support for people living with mental health challenges and their families.
A heartfelt thank you was extended to the Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights, Michael Falzon, and to Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, for their presence and ongoing support. Appreciation also went out to the many NGOs and organisations who took part, including The Malta Trust Foundation, The Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society, Suret il-Bniedem, National Parents Society of Persons with Disability, ADHD Malta, Creative Arts Therapies Malta, Dar Kenn Għal Saħħtek, The Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health – ACAMH Malta, Fondazzjoni St Jeanne Antide, Lino Spiteri Foundation, Paths, and Ħila.
Together, these groups stood in solidarity to highlight the importance of mental health and to promote inclusion for all showing that when we unite, we truly make a difference.
