The Archdiocese is celebrating the memory of late Archbishop Pawlu Cremona on the one year anniversary of his passing.

‘On the first anniversary of the death of Archbishop Pawlu Cremona, we fondly remember the missionary life he lived among the people of Malta for the glory of God, while praying that, through his example and by the grace of God, we too may dedicate our lives to one another with unconditional love’, explained the Archdiocese.

The late Archbishop passed away last year at the age of 79, and is remembered as one of the main spiritual leaders of the Maltese church.

He was ordained Bishop on 26th January 2007 and became the third Archbishop of Malta. In October of 2014, then Pope Francis accepted his resignation due to his health issues.

Rest in peace.
