Memorial For Late 13 Year Old Oliwia Wojnowska This Sunday

The Polish Parish in Malta will be holding a memorial service and holy mass in memory of Oliwia Wojnowska, the 13 year old girl who was tragically swept out to sea earlier this week.

She was unfortunately found deceased days later by Civil Protection Divers in a search and rescue operation that gripped the nation.

In solidarity with loved ones and the Polish Community, the Polish Parish in Malta will be holding a memorial service on Sunday 1st February at 10:30am at St John Bosco Chapel.

The mass will be presided by H.E. Rev. bp. Robert Chrząszcz - Delegate of the Polish Episcopal Conference for the Ministry of Poland abroad.

After the mass, the community will head to the site of the tragedy in Cirkewwa to lay wreaths and light candles. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 12.00. Representatives of the Embassy of Poland will also take part in the ceremony.
